If you have a previous-generation flagship in possession and want to upgrade to the Galaxy S8 as quickly as possible, Samsung has an offer that will make that purchase a lot simpler for you. Trade-in your previous flagship and you just might be eligible to get up to $350 in trade-in value, eventually setting up for an affordable Galaxy S8 purchase. There are certain conditions you will have to watch out for and we will be detailing everything here.

Trade-in Any Smartphone and Get $200 Back - Galaxy S7 edge Gets a $350 Trade-in Value for Galaxy S8 Purchase

While the unlocked versions of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will set you back by $625 and $725 respectively, Samsung has another offer up its sleeve that will serve a lot of consumers since they must be in possession of a previous-generation flagship. When you see a smartphone like the Galaxy S8, it is really hard to pass up the offer.

According to Samsung’s U.S. page, if you trade-in any smartphone running iOS or Android, they’ll give you at least $200 off upfront, which will further shed the total price you’ll end up paying for the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+. However, to maximize the trade-in offer, you will need to have a Galaxy S7 edge in possession, which will result in Samsung giving you $350 upfront. If you own a Galaxy Note 5, you can get $300 for your troubles, which is honestly not a bad deal seeing as how the phablet is now two generations old.

When you apply for the discount, it is applied immediately to your order and then sent as you checkout. After your new phone has arrived, you will have to put your trade-in device in the box and return it quickly to avoid Samsung charging you back the discount they gave.

The flexible thing about this offer is that you get to keep the phone till the new one reaches your doorstep. Unfortunately, it is only applicable to U.S.-based residents, so anyone who is not living in the country, you will be fresh out of luck.
