The tempered glass reveals that the smartphone might have unbelievably thin bezels to up the aesthetics score and definitely worry Samsung and its quest to roll out its upcoming Galaxy Note 8. The only part that is actually covered by the bezels is the location of the front camera. We already knew that the handset would be void of a home button, but that begs the question if the fingerprint reader is going to be embedded beneath the display or not? As for the changes, the iPhone 8 will feature an OLED panel coupled with an edge-to-edge display that will be vertically arranged. This is similar to the approach that Samsung has taken with its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in regards to an edge-to-edge display, with the only difference is that Apple’s upcoming phone will feature a flat-screen rather a curved-edge glass.
A previous analyst has claimed that the iPhone 8 is not going to be as expensive as the majority of consumers have been led to believe. The starting price of the phone has been rumored to be $870, but this is for the base model, and the upgraded version could reach a $1,000+ bill when it is officially available.
There is also a video of the screen protector given below, so be sure to view it to get a better idea of what to expect from the front side of the iPhone 8.
