The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Switch New Footage Showcases Game Played In Handheld Mode

The Nintendo Switch version of the acclaimed RPG The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim was one of the first games announced for the new console, but we had yet to see the game run on the actual console. Finally, footage has emerged online, showing how the Switch version compares to the game's other releases.

The new The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Switch footage, which can be found right below, shows the game running in handheld mode. According to the video's uploader, Skyrim runs nicely on Switch, with controls translating nicely to the Joy-Con.

Last month, Bethesda confirmed some of the additional features exclusive to the Switch version of the game, such as motion controls and exclusive The Legend of Zelda outfits and weapons.

The Legend of Zelda Outfits and Weapons – Tap compatible The Legend of Zelda character amiibo to gain outfits and gear inspired by the series. Take down enemies with the Master Sword, protect yourself with the Hylian shield, or look heroic in the Champion’s Tunic. Tap other compatible amiibo to gain additional loot. Compatible amiibo include those from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild series, 30th Anniversary – The Legend of Zelda series, Super Smash Bros. series, and The Legend of Zelda series.

The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim launches on Switch this Fall.
