Another Supposed LG V30 Render Shows Impressive Screen To Body; Will Smartphone Ship With The Snapdragon 836?

After the G6's launch, Korean manufacturer LG is gearing up for its first serious smartphone for the year. We've heard whispers since last year on how the company will shift its flagship focus to the year's second half. And true to form, the LG G6 shipped with the Snapdragon 821. Despite claims that Samsung wasn't able to churn out enough units, insinuating circumstances outside of LG's control, it's the V30 that looks to be the company's top of the line smartphone. Detailed LG V30 Render Shows Full Front Facade; Hints At A Higher Screen:Body Ratio Than The G6

If today's image is accurate, then LG's looking to show off its display manufacturing capabilities. The LG G6 and Samsung's S8/S8+ set of this year's display trends. Edge to edge displays and no front buttons are all anyone in the flagship world can talk about. In fact, if the rumor mill is to be believed, then even the iPhone 8 will sport the feature. Now, another source claims that the V30 will not fall behind in the department either.

Just a couple of days back, notorious tipster Evan Blass shared alleged renders for the LG V30. Now today, an old Chinese source has brought that rendered the image in 3D. That, or we could be looking at an upcoming press image for the smartphone. It shows an even smaller screen to body ratio for the V30 when compared against the G6.

The image above shares quite a few minuscule details for the V30. If you take a closer look, the earphone jack will be at the device's top. This marks the manufacturer as one of those who favor users unable to afford Bluetooth earphones (unlike:Apple). At its front right, you'll get volume buttons, As for its back, we'll get another dual camera and a power button. 2016 ended with big claims of virtual fingerprint sensors, but so far, none of these have materialized.

The top contender for the race is Apple's iPhone 8, but even that merits the old salt mine. As far as specifications go, expect the Snapdragon 835, all important wireless charging and 6GB RAM. Of course, it'll be interesting if the LG V30 features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 836. Last year only Google got the honors and LG responded with the G6. Interesting times. Thoughts?
