Dragon Quest Builders 2 Announced for Nintendo Switch and PS4; To Include Co-Op, Underwater Exploration & More

Dragon Quest Builders 2 has been announced for both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and will feature a decent co-op mode.

The Dragon Quest builders sequel was officially announced during the Dragon Quest Summer Festival in Tokyo this weekend, and as reported by website RPGSite, the sandbox action-RPG will feature underwater exploration, dashing, and a decent cooperative playing mode this time around.

Released back in the West back in October 2016, Square Enix initially released the game in Japan in January 2016 for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita. In the game, players use their creativity to gather materials and craft unique items to rebuild the ruined realm of Alefgard.

An exact release date for Dragon Quest Builders 2 wasn’t announced, but its slated for a release next year.
