There's no doubt left that iOS 11, macOS High Sierra and watchOS 4 were the stars of the show on stage at Apple's WWDC 2017 opening keynote. Apple didn't even bother talking about tvOS 11 yet it released the update alongside other software. Given the rumors, it appears as though Apple has something huge to announce later this year. It's likely a new Apple TV with extremely powerful internals that support 4K video as well as HDR10. That conversation can be reserved for a later date, however. Today, the main attraction is tvOS 11 Beta 5, and is a piece of software you should update to if you're running an older version of the beta.

tvOS 11 Beta 5 can downloaded over the air without having to tether your Apple TV 4 to your PC or Mac. Just follow the steps below.
1. Connect your Apple TV to WiFi and launch the Settings app from the tvOS 11 home screen.
2. Navigate to System > Software Updates. Install the available update.
The entire download and installation process won't take more than a few minutes. Just make sure you do not play around with your Apple TV during the entire process. Once everything is done installing you'll boot straight into the tvOS home screen.

Given how things are moving in the world of Apple TV and tvOS, it's safe to say that tvOS 11 is not the entire story we get to see this year. It's highly likely that Apple has more to show in a separate event, maybe alongside the new iPhone 8 (who knows).
It will also be interesting to see how Apple is going to bring 4K content to iTunes (finally) and whether or not the company will charge extra for it. After all, the Cupertino giant does charge more for an 'HD' version of the content with the 'SD' quality of the same costing significantly less. We'll see for sure in the days and weeks to come.
