In just a couple of weeks, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 8. The phablet will redeem the Korean manufacturer for last year's Note7 disaster. Samsung launched its 2016 phablet with big intentions, but the device fell short in one critical area: battery performance. The Iris scanner touting device soon became a public safety hazard, as most international airlines were directed to not allow the smartphone on board operating flights. But that's all in the past. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Will Hit Stores On September 15th; Pre-Order Will Start On 1st September For Korean Customers

As we head to its launch, Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 is an active part of the rumor mill. There are little new details we expect this year. The Korean tech giant will deliver on the same host of upgrades and features that make for a Note device. The only change will be a dual rear camera setup, as Samsung is finally able to churn out enough sensors not only for the Note 8, but for other devices in its portfolio as well.

Regarding specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 alongside a hefty 6GB RAM. It's interesting that no rumors claim the Snapdragon 836 for the phablet. Qualcomm is rumored to launch a slightly improved Snapdragon 835 this half - similar to the Snapdragon 821 in 2016. Google's Pixel 2 and the LG V30 will feature the processor, according to leaks, but no similar details have surfaced for the Note 8.

The device will also be available in three storage specifications and feature some camera upgrades. It's expected that the Galaxy Note 8 will feature 3x optical zoom and super night shot. As we like to regularly remind you, camera is a major part of the flagship smartphone world. Our smartphones have replaced traditional point and shoot cameras as more and more tech is crammed inside tiny sensors.

According to today's news, the Galaxy Note 8 will be available for pre-order starting September 1st.
