Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Closed Beta Starts August 25th on PS4

Square Enix has announced the dates on which Dissidia Final Fantasy NT closed beta will be held for the new fighting game for PlayStation 4.

According to the company, the test period will begin on Saturday, August 26, while it will end at the same time on September 4. This means that the closed beta for America and Europe will be available for just over one week.

Later it was confirmed that during the beta players will be able to participate in 3v3 battles in areas that will be familiar to fans of the franchise.

Among the characters you can select are Warrior of Light (Final Fantasy), Firion (Final Fantasy II), Onion Knight (Final Fantasy III), Cecil Harvey (Final Fantasy IV), Bartz Klauser (Final Fantasy V), Terra Branford (Final Fantasy VI), Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy VII), Squall Leonhart (Final Fantasy VIII), Zidane Tribal (Final Fantasy IX), Tidus (Final Fantasy X), Shantotto (Final Fantasy XI), Vaan (Final Fantasy XII), Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII), and Y’shtola (Final Fantasy XIV). Likewise, in the beta, you can summon creatures like Ifrit, Shiva, and Odin.

On the other hand, Square Enix has announced that Jecht, a character that was announced yesterday for the Arcade version of Dissidia Final Fantasy, will be also playable in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. According to the company, this fighter will be available on Dissidia for PlayStation 4 at launch.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will release on PlayStation 4 early next year.
