In addition to the 4-player cooperative online mode, Rayman Legends Definitive Edition allows local multiplayer wirelessly.

In February, the creator of Rayman, Miche Ancel, mentioned that bringing this title to Switch was the best idea. "Rayman Legends is like a board game," Ancel said. "It means playing with your friends in the same room, and this console is perfect for that," he explained. "It's the concept of the console we've been waiting for a long time. An HD console, powerful, portable."

Ancel also announced that the version of Rayman Legends on Twitch will have some surprises, in addition to the mode called Kung Foot. However, to know these surprises we will have to wait for the launch of the game to approach, as the creative did not mention exactly what he was referring to. "We are preparing other surprises because the console has a lot of qualities in the multiplayer area."

As for the ideal Rayman Legends on Twitch, Michel Ancel explained that the style of the title looks like a board game, so playing with several friends in one room is perfect.

Rayman Legends Definitive Edition will be available on September 12 for a price of $39.99 USD. Originally, the title debuted in 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. In early 2014, it had a port for Xbox One and PS4.
