Microsoft Partners With Bluehole To Bring PUBG on Xbox One; 8 Million Copies Sold

As part of the Xbox gamescom 2017 show, Brendan Greene, creator of PUBG, took advantage of his presence to tell us a bit about the process of creating his title. In that sense, he attributed his success to the deceivingly simple mechanics and the possibility that every player can live their own experience.

However, the most important announcement of the day for the fans of PUBG waiting for the title to arrive on Xbox One was that, as confirmed by Brendan Greene, Bluehole and Microsoft have reached an agreement so that the last company is part of the process of development of the console version.

Greene has confirmed that the agreement will allow Microsoft to not only publish the title but will provide all of its knowledge, skills, and tools so that the version of PUBG on Xbox One provides the same experience it currently has on PC.

Chang Han Kim, VP of Bluehole, Inc and Executive Producer for PUBG stated the following: "Our goal is to deliver the best Battle Royale experience to a global audience and our partnership with Microsoft will allow us to do just that. This partnership with Microsoft will accelerate the development and delivery of PUBG to console players around the world as we utilize their vast resources and impressive technical, sales and marketing expertise."

In addition, during the presentation of Xbox in gamescom 2017, Brendan Greene not only announced the agreement they have made with Microsoft to join the development work for the version of PUBG on Xbox One but also confirmed that the title of survival has already sold eight million copies.

The news comes just a few days after it reached the target of seven million copies sold; the momentum doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

PUBG will arrive before the end of the year on Xbox One.
