Over the past few months, XB1 players have received some not-so-nice news regarding the release of console-exclusive titles. The last case was that of Crackdown 3, a game that will now debut in Spring 2018. Despite this, the future for the Microsoft console looks promising, especially at the beginning of next year.

In a panel at gamescom 2017, Aaron Greenberg, chief marketing officer of Xbox, spoke about this situation and clarified that there is a great alignment of exclusive titles that will arrive on the console. According to the executive, the brand has some of the most beloved series in the industry: "People pick Xbox because we have the biggest franchises, the biggest exclusives, whether you are a fan of Halo, or Gears of War, or Forza."

According to Greenberg, the players of Xbox One and future players of Xbox One X do not have to worry, because soon they will be able to enjoy games like Forza Motorsport 7, Cuphead, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, Crackdown 3 and Super Lucky's Tale:

"This Holiday, personally, I’m really excited, [because] Xbox One will be the only console where you will be able to play Forza 7, Cuphead, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, which we are super excited about. Also timed with the Xbox One X launch we have Super Lucky’s Tale coming, that’s exclusive. But it doesn’t stop there, because into the Spring, we have Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and Crackdown 3. So we’re basically non-stop hitting our fans with more and more exclusive titles, so there will be tons of great games to play," added Greenberg.

Finally, the executive took the opportunity to highlight the qualities of Xbox One X. Greenberg said the system will be ideal for all types of players, regardless of the genre of titles they consume: "The great thing as a gamer is no matter if you’re a fan of RPGs, or racers, or shooters, no matter what kind of game you like, these games are going to look and play better on Xbox One X," Greenberg said.

So far, Microsoft has confirmed more than 100 titles with support for XB1X. Do you agree with the statements of Aaron Greenberg? Let us know about your opinion in the comments below.
