Another day, another iPhone 8 leak. Apple's flagship for 2017 is a regular feature of leaks and rumors, just like its predecessors. However, unlike its predecessors, the iPhone 8 will bear a lot of new features and upgrades. The pace of upgrades on the lineup has decreased lately, and won't help Apple become the first trillion dollar company in the world. So Cupertino needs to give it all that it's got, and by the gist of things, this will exactly be the case. Today, we've got more on the iPhone 8. Take a look below to find out more.

The Apple iPhone 8 Will Launch On September 12th And Release Ten Days Later On The 22nd, Claims Source

Not a lot is left secret for the iPhone 8. It's widely known that the flagship will feature both conventional and unconventional upgrades. For the first time, years after Android, the iPhone lineup will finally feature OLED displays.

We're interested to see its impact on battery, as Apple's hardware/software integration already delivers stellar results in the area. In addition to the OLED display, the iPhone 8 will also feature an edge to edge, button free front.

This leaves the question of Touch ID and a lot of sources have made some disconcerting claims lately. Initially, it was believed that the smartphone will feature fingerprint recognition in its power/home button.

But now, sources believe that Apple's facing yield problems with the feature and will remove it all together on the high-end smartphone. Rather, the iPhone 8 will only use facial/3D recognition for unlock, leaving questions on the feature's security.

All the upgrades, OLED displays in particular, have also led to claims that the device will see a delayed release date. In this regard, we've got some good news for you today. French publication Mac4ever claims that the iPhone 8 will launch on September 12, more or less following Apple's earlier launch pattern.

The device will release ten days later on September 22nd, laying to rest all others who claimed a release that's as far as January. That is, if today's information turns out to be true. The publication names European carriers as its source, so maybe they do know what they're talking about.

Launch delays aren't something that Apple's new to, however. We all know how eager the company was to release AirPods, which then started to face shipment delays. But there's a big, big difference between AirPods and the iPhone.

Things will become clear in less than a month (thankfully). Till then, stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section below. We'll keep you updated on the latest in the meantime.
