There literally is no dearth of iPhone related leaks out there. We're seeing Apple's upcoming flagships leak since late 2016, which is early even by the rumor mill's standards. However, the majority of this information is focused on the iPhone 8. The mill is eager to assuage both Apple's customers and investors that the company will not fall behind on the innovation train. After all, recent trends on the iPhone lineup haven't done anyone any favors. Today, we've got details on the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus. Take a look below to find out more.

The iPhone  7s And iPhone 7s Plus Will Increase All Dimensions Slightly Over Their Predecessors

Frankly speaking, if it weren't for the iPhone 8, we'd all be pretty bored by now. The iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus simply do not have the same pull as a highly upgraded smartphone. In fact, should Apple differentiate the smartphones on numerical nomenclature, were sure that the resulting impact on 7s/7s Plus' sales won't be favorable either.

Today, it's the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus gracing the rumor mill. The smartphones will be incremental upgrades over their predecessors, keeping in lieu with Apple tradition. However, they will feature one big upgrade, that's been present on Android for ages.

The iPhone 7s/7s Plus, just like the iPhone 8, will be the first iPhones from Apple to feature wireless charging. This will necessitate several changes for the pair. Firstly, the iPhone 7s and the iPhone 7s Plus will feature a glass build, marking a return to older days.

Now, folks over at TechnoBuffalo have some information relating to the iPhone 7s pair's dimensions. According to them, wireless charging will have a direct impact on the smartphones' dimensions. The iPhone 7s will measure 138.44x67.26x7.21mm. On the other hand, the iPhone 7s Plus will measure 158.37x78.1x7.41mm.

These mark an increase of 0.14x0.16x0.11mm for the iPhone 7s and a 0.17x0.20x0.11mm for the 7s Plus. Take a close look at the width increases and you'll see that they're exactly the same for the pair. Looks like Apple's tried really hard to control things here, with both the smartphones receiving an equal increase due to additional components and materials.

Cupertino and Jony Ive love details after all. Let's hope it shows in the design for this year's iPhone lineup. Apple really, really needs to up its design game. Introducing new color options and finishing won't cut it, especially when the OnePlus is able to do exactly the same. Thoughts?
