Assassin's Creed Origins, the new entry in the series launching soon on PC and consoles, is setting out to be one of the most interesting games launching before the end of the year, thanks to the major focus on RPG elements and the enhancements of the open world mechanics the series is known for. Yesterday, we have been able to check out how the RPG elements spice up the late game experience, and today we are able to see how much the open world experience has been improved thanks to a fresh gameplay video.

The new Assassin's Creed Origins gameplay video, which can be watched below, has been recorded during Gamescom 2017 by Centerstrain01 and it showcases the Memphis area. Make sure to select 4K quality to see how beautiful the game will look when played at high resolutions.

Assassin's Creed Origins will take advantage of the Xbox One X power to offer a variety of visual enhancements not possible on the other consoles. Among them will be increased drawing distance, faster transitions from Senu to Bayek and more.

Assassin’s Creed Origins will be visually stunning and fun on all platforms, but thanks to the power of the Scorpio engine, the Xbox One X will let our players experience the most beautiful version of our game with all the stunning details, beautiful landscapes and incredible cities of Ancient Egypt,
rendered in both 4K and 1080p.

The powerful Scorpio Engine of the Xbox One X allows our game engine to really express itself and
render the game with improved shadows quality, greater draw distances and more detailed textures to really highlight the magnificence of Ancient Egypt. And all this in HDR too!

Assassin's Creed Origins launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 27th.
