Unlike the Galaxy Note 8, Apple’s iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are able to record 4K video at a ground-breaking 60 frames per second, making them the first mainstream phones to come with this feature. However, Samsung has a trick up its sleeve and it will make sure that the Galaxy Note 8 is in close pursuit of Apple and its latest iOS devices.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 Promo Page Reveals That the Phone Will Be Able to Shoot 4K Video at 60FPS - Software Update Might Bring About This Change
Samsung has provided a little tidbit pertaining to the video recording capabilities of the Galaxy Note 8. According to the product’s promo page, it details that the 6.3-inch flagship is able to record 4K video at 60FPS, but there have been no updates related to this upgrade.
The Galaxy Note 8 is still limited to 4K video recording at 30 frames per second, meaning that Samsung will eventually be rolling out a software update that will allow the phone to go toe-to-toe against Apple’s newest smartphone family.
The added benefit of owning a Note 8 is that not only does it feature a base model that sports 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage, but it also has a slot for you to expand your existing storage.
