Huawei Mate 10 Alleged Official Press Render Leaked in the Wild Showing Thin Bezels to Rival the Note 8

Huawei will be announcing its Mate 10 smartphone next month along with an upgraded variant that rumors are calling it the Mate 10 Pro. If you want to get a teaser of what the Mate 10 is expected to look like prior to the announcement, a known leakster has fulfilled your wishes with an allegedly leaked press render which reveals thin bezels that should put Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 to shame.

No Revelation Towards Hardware Specifications but Several Models Sporting Different Hardware Expected on the Mate 10

The allegedly leaked press render courtesy of Evan Blass only reveals what the phablet is expected to look like when Huawei’s executives take center stage next month. In short, the phone will have thinned bezels which will be a great rival for the Galaxy Note 8 and according to the specifications, the Mate 10 is going to be a powerhouse in its own domain.

From the looks of it, Huawei might have toned down its custom UI so that it provides a cleaner and leaner look. It is far from the aesthetics touted by stock Android, but having everything in your face just becomes a more cumbersome experience.

If you’re interested to know about the hardware specifications, the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro will feature Huawei’s in-house silicon made on the 10nm FinFET architecture called Kirin 970. It will feature an octa-core processor and will be the first chipset to support the LTE Cat. 18 standard for download speeds and LTE Cat. 13 for upload speeds.

Pricing of these two devices have yet to be detailed but they will go toe-to-toe with the V30 and Galaxy Note 8 in the specifications and features department so we’ll be looking forward to what the manufacturer presents to us.
