Whenever a new firmware update drops for a mobile device, there are bound to be issues at launch. iOS 10 was no different - iOS 11 isn't either. If you are one of the many people who updated to iOS 11 using the over the air route, chances are that you picked up an issue or two during the process, with WiFi being one of them. If that's the case, then do not panic. We will walk you through certain tips that will (hopefully) get you back in business.

Turn WiFi OFF then ON (From Settings)

It's established at this point that the Control Center WiFi toggle switch does not actually turn off the WiFi radio. It just disconnects you from the access point you're connected to. So, in order to turn off WiFi completely and back on, go to Settings > WiFi. Move the WiFi toggle switch to the OFF position then back ON.

Hard Reset Your iPhone or iPad

Hold down the Power + Home buttons for 10 seconds until the screen goes blank and you see the Apple logo on the display. If you have an iPhone 7 or later, then the key combination is Power + Volume Down keys. Once your device restarts, try out WiFi again. It should work just fine.

Reset Network Settings

Flushing out the network settings completely can help in a lot of cases if a hard reset fails. Just go to Settings > General > Reset and then tap on Reset Network Settings. Your device will forget all the networks you've connected to, so be vary of this fact. But once done, things should be nice and working.

Erase All Content and Settings or Clean Install iOS 11

Sometimes you have to take the hardest route in the end. Either perform a clean install using iTunes or go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. All the necessary guides are linked below. Use this step if the problem persists even after all your attempts.
