Call of Duty WWII PC Beta System Requirements Revealed; To Support Ultra-Wide Resolutions, High Frame Rates

This weekend, Call of Duty PC fans will finally be able to try out Call of Duty WWII with the open beta. If you're planning to take part, you can start downloading it right now.

The Call of Duty WWII beta client is around 14GB big and you can start downloading it by accessing its Steam page.

Additionally, the system requirements have been revealed. Note that these are only for the open beta, so they may change for the final release.

Sledgehammer Games also revealed some of the PC exclusive features that will be available in the beta. The beta not only supports 4K and ultra-wide resolutions but also frame rates up to 250 FPS. It also features an FOV slider as well as controller support. HDR support won't be in the beta, but it will be included at launch.

The developers also said that there won't be any aim assist in the beta as they will try to tune the game natively for PC (and, therefore, keyboard & mouse controls).

Call of Duty WWII launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 3rd. The PC open beta will be active from September 29th to October 2nd.
