Since the reasons for the removal of the Apple Watch Twitter app are yet unknown at this point, the folks over at MacRumors forum suggest that the Twitter app on the Apple Watch was starting to crash and had difficulty showing the app icon on the Home screen after watchOS 4 rolled out. Henceforth, the app could have been temporarily removed and it could potentially return with a stable build. However, these are mere assumptions and the final decision remains with the company.
