Battle.net recently retained its trademark name after Blizzard had a change of heart from the original decision to change the name. Now, it looks like Blizzard has plans to enhance Battle.net with several features that the community has requested for quite a while.
MMO-Champion was able to datamine a series of strings indicating that Groups might soon be added to Battle.net. They've also found Avatar, presumably for individual users, and Group Icons.
You can find those on MMO-Champion, while we have added the strings below. These suggest that Groups on Battle.net should allow features like Message of the Day, Moderators, Roles, Channels, and more. Moreover, a particular string hints that Blizzard could be adding the highly requested ability to appear offline.
