Kingdom Come Deliverance

Kingdom Come Deliverance, the massive RPG by Warhorse Studios, has been released on PC and consoles, and it seems like those who are playing it on Xbox One X are having the best possible experience that can be had on consoles.

Digital Foundry took a good look at the console version of Kingdom Come Deliverance, noting how, everything considered, the Xbox One X version is the one running best. On PS4 and Xbox One, the game runs at 900p resolution, with the PlayStation 4 version coming with better Ambient Occlusion. Both PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X can run the game at 1080p / 1440p, with the Xbox One X having slightly better performance. All console versions suffer from frame pacing issues, with a 30 FPS target.

The fortunes of each console versions are in line with many games using this engine however, withy frame-rates wavering between 20-30fps. Despite this, there's one clear pack leader in between the PS4 and Xbox One machines.

Kingdom Come Deliverance is now out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is getting long term support, with the team already working on new DLC questlines.
