Apple has been rumored to release new iPad Pro models this year, but it appears that the company might have different versions of its slate being prepped in the future. According to the latest filing, there are two new models that the tech giant might be unveiling during the month of March.

The Eurasian commission database reveals two new devices that were reported first by Consomac. Similar filings have appeared before which revolved around the iPhone 7, and AirPods so it is not surprising that we will be seeing these as well.
This entry shows two devices with the following model identifiers:
- A1954
- A1893
These are iPad slates running the company’s latest iOS 11 update, which definitely suggests that the tech giant will have some new tablets lined up for the public, but which one exactly? One earlier published report detailed the release of a cheaper iPad alternative, as well as the iPad Pro models. The cheaper iPad is expected to feature the same design as its predecessor but with upgraded internals this time.
As for the iPad Pro models, they will still be sticking to the regular IPS LCD panels, but with more features underneath their premium hood. For starters, these slates are going to be oozing with firepower, with a rumor suggesting that the chipset powering these tablets are going to be rocking octa-core processors. We all know about Apple’s accomplishments when it comes to chip design and the iPad Pro models are going to be nothing short of impressive on the performance side.
More details also state that the iPad Pro models are going to feature slimmer bezels and will be equipped with Face ID instead of Touch ID. An OLED panel is not going to be a part of the specifications but we could most likely be seeing it next year.
