[Update] Patch 1.3 is now live for PC players and clocks in at roughly 5.7GB. We'll post the full patch notes as soon as they are released by Warhorse.

[Original story] Warhorse Studios co-founder and creative director, Daniel Vávra, has been testing the upcoming Kingdom Come Deliverance patch 1.3.

After a short delay, the 1.3 update is expected to be deployed for PC any day now. Developer Warhorse already finalized the patch some days ago, and Vávra stated that the team plans to release it this week with the console patch releasing some days later due to certification.

Many are eagerly waiting for the update, and Vávra already shared some positive testing results. While the rest of the testing setup is unknown, the creative director shared that with the 1.3 PC update, the game is running at 1080p with 60-80FPS on an NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti GPU, and 40FPS at 3440x1440 (Ultrawide 21:9) on ultra settings on an AMD Radeon RX Vega card and AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1900x CPU.

Impressive results so far, and we can only hope that Warhorse Studios will roll out the update as soon as possible.

In other Kingdom Come related news: Vávra also commented on yesterday’s article from Polygon which claimed that Warhorse Studios will not be committing to the game’s Kickstarter stretch goals.

“I don’t know what to even say about this”, Warhorse’s co-founder tweeted. ”Dear @Polygon, @CharlieHall We said a year ago, that dog companion and female characters quests are gonna be delivered as free DLC for backers as well as other stuff. And that is still true.”

“Currently we are already working on animations for the dog and tournament is partially scripted and will also be part of some future DLC”, he continued.

“So only thing that we said is, that we are currently focusing on patches and polishing the game. We will deliver these things later, but currently we don’t have any exact dates set in stone.”

Vávra followed up with a tweet concerning the amount of work that goes into Kingdom Come. Polygon has since updated its article and title.

Kingdom Come Deliverance is available now for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
