When It Rains It . . .Leaks? The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Pops Up On Three Different Company Support Pages Listed As SM-960U

Well folks, the stars have aligned in favor of leaks related to Samsung's Galaxy Note 9. The device has started to surface on a lot different source in the course of just one day. Things kicked off with a benchmark leak for Samsung's N960U yesterday, which is the Note 9's internal codename. Then, the Korean media released a fresh report with the belief that the phablet's 6.38" OLED display panels will enter mass production next month. And now, the Galaxy Note 9 is listed on Samsung's official support sites. Take a look below for the details.

Last year, Samsung took the lead with edge to edge displays. Despite the fact that it was Xiaomi who led the latest aspect ratio upgrade, it became popular only after making it on the Galaxy S8/S8+. The increased screen to body ratio, combined with a fantastically sleek form led to widespread acclaim for the S8 pair. Samsung it seemed, was a changed company.

With the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, Seoul chose to focus on rear camera performance, which lagged behind the Note 8 and Sony. The pair received impressive upgrades, raising the bar for flagship devices. Now, despite the upgrade, it's reported that the S9/S9+ failed to perform according to Samsung's expectations. Therefore, an expedited Note 9 launch might be on the cards.

Today, we've got three separate support pages from Samsung which list the SM-N960U. This is the internal reference for the Galaxy Note 9 powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845. Of course, a customary keyword search of these sites yields no results; so we're unsure of their reliability. Nevertheless, any information for upcoming flagships is welcome, since it provides critical pieces of confirmation and corroboration.

Right now, the Galaxy Note 9 is rumored with a 4000mAh battery and a 6.38 inch display. Samsung might also launch an 8GB variant for the phablet, but this is optimistic conjecture for the time being. The big feature on everyone's mind, virtual fingerprint recognition is not witnessing any love from the rumor mill either. Given that we've got a lot of time before it's launched, things can change.
