Today Intel has lifted the embargo on all H370, B360 and H310 motherboards on the Coffee Lake platform and to start off EVGA announced their H370 offering the EVGA H370 Stinger A budget friendly workhorse for your HTPC or gaming PC.
EVGA Jumps On The H370 With The Mini ITX Stinger
It uses the newest Intel H370 Express Chipset, which is very similar to H270 with the addition of DDR4 2667MHz+ memory support and a 10-layer PCB, this motherboard should be more than enough to deal with non overclocked users for a reliable system. Using a 9-phase PWM, (which seems like overkill but may be enough to get support on upcoming 8 core i7 CPUs) external clock generator, HDMI 2.0 and 7.1 Channel HD Audio, this motherboard will thrive as the heart of your next system, while supporting today's widely-used components.
With four SATA 6G ports, M.2, Intel Optane Memory Ready, the EVGA H370 Stinger has you covered for storage. The Stinger should be perfect for those looking to get a full featured board without wanting to overclock. Looking over the specifications I can say this is probably overkill for those looking to pop in an i3 8100 though the External clock generator could allow BLCK overclocking something Asrock did years ago and removed after a while.
