Apple has released the first beta of macOS 10.13.5 High Sierra to registered developers.

macOS 10.13.5 Beta 1 Arrives with Bug Fixes, Performance Improvements and Messages in iCloud (Again)

Having updated its software lineup on Monday excluding macOS, the Cupertino company has went ahead and updated its desktop platform as well. If you are a registered developer then you can go ahead and install macOS 10.13.5 Beta 1 right away and it features the usual bug fixes and enhancements but brings Messages in iCloud to the table once again. We say 'once again' because the aforementioned feature was removed from iOS 11.3 and macOS 10.13.4 on final release, but now that it's made a return in a new beta, we're somewhat optimistic that the final version will include said features on final release to the public.

Registered developers can simply head over to developer.apple.com and grab the update from there. Once you have downloaded and installed the beta profile onto your Mac then you will start receiving pre-release builds over the air straight from the Mac App Store. Just make sure you install the update on a spare Mac or a secondary machine that does not serve the purpose of a daily driver with you. There's no telling at which corner a beta update would give up on you. Exercise as much caution as possible here, please.

We will keep our readers updated on the progress of all beta software from Apple so stay tuned for more.
