Prior to its launch, the OnePlus 6 is taking an interesting turn when we consider rumors and leaks related to the upcoming device. Today, its cases are up for order with a European retailer. Take a look below for all the details.

Major Case Leak For The OnePlus 6 Lays Bare Several Critical Design Details For The Smartphone; Confirms Relocated Alert Slider And Upgraded Rear Design

The rumor mill is very generous for the OnePlus 6. We've got a lot of details for the smartphone, promising that it will keep up a flagship classification. OnePlus has confirmed that its latest smartphone will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845. A fantastic 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage will complement the processor.

In addition, the OnePlus 6 will also feature a display notch, amidst much consternation from OnePlus' loyal user base and the Android world in general. However, the company will allow users to 'black' this out by making sure the status bar can be hidden by software.

For performance, the OnePlus 6 promises us some impressive benchmark scores, that places it right at the top of the Android food chain; ahead of Samsung's Galaxy S9 lineup. Of course, since this conclusion is based on leaked scores, we'll have to reserve judgment until later.

The leak gods are good to us today, as we've got a lot of images for the OnePlus 6 courtesy of case manufacturer Olixar. They corroborate a lot of details for the smartphone, particularly ones for a rearranged rear camera and fingerprint sensor layout. In addition, OnePlus's official teaser for the smartphone made a startling reveal yesterday.

In an image posted on the company's Twitter, the OnePlus 6 was shown resting beneath a OnePlus 5T. This allowed us a good look at the device's left edge when considered from the front. Surprisingly, it didn't feature an alert slider, like its predecessor. This detail is repeated once again in today's images, lending further weight to their authenticity.

The alert slider shifts to the right of the device. A leaked image at the top of this post and an official one shared by Carl Pei both confirm this. All in all, at least OnePlus is bothering to shake things up with a new generation; unlike some other manufacturers. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned. We'll keep you updated on the latest.
