Former Last of Us Part II & Uncharted Game Designer Joins PS4 Spiderman Dev Insomniac Games

Insomniac Games, the studio behind Sunset Overdrive and the upcoming Spiderman for PS4, has hired former Naughty Dog game designer James Cooper.

Cooper and Insomniac announced the news through Twitter. “We are very glad to have you on board!”, Insomniac’s official Twitter account tweeted. “Welcome @_James_Cooper to the Insomniac and #SpiderManPS4 family ya'll!”

“Very excited to join the amazing team @insomniacgames on #SpiderMan”, Cooper wrote on Twitter.

Naughty Dog’s former game designer will be joining Insomniac to work on the upcoming exclusive Spiderman game for PlayStation 4.

Cooper joined Naughty Dog in October of 2013 as game designer on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and later became lead game designer on the Uncharted spin-off, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Prior to his position at Naughty Dog, Cooper fulfilled positions as designer at Codemasters and Crytek.
