PUBG Mobile 0.4.0 is Now Live with Arcade Mode, Training Grounds & More [Complete Changelog]

The moment you've been waiting for has finally come through. PUBG Mobile 0.4.0 is now available for both iOS and Android with a ton of new changes and feature additions.

Arcade Mode, Training Grounds, Dusk Settings & More Arrive with New PUBG Mobile 0.4.0 Update

PUBG Mobile and its desktop counterpart are in a constant state of improvement. Over the weekend, the developers behind the famed title have released a new update to the game dubbed as version 0.4.0 for both iOS and Android. It carries a handful of great new features and we're going to lay down the entire changelog for both versions of the game (iOS and Android) below.

PUBG Mobile 0.4.0 for iOS

Major updates:
- Arcade Mode: a new mode with 28 players and one of the six following variations: Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, All Weapons, Melee, Pistols and Item Heaven.
- Training Grounds: try out all the weapons and practice your shooting skills.
- Added 3D Touch firing options to iOS.

Over 20 items of game optimization, including:
- Added a new setting: Dusk.
- Added Follow function (both before parachuting and after landing).
- Added automatic door opening, can be enabled in Settings.
- Pause between picking up multiple items automatically has been adjusted.
- 4x and 8x scope choppy issue resolved.
- Added a performance chart to the Results screen.
- Adjusted sound effects and some voice chat issues.
- Leaning: movement speed increased, added “Lean & Open Scope” and “Lean & Fire”.
- Enhanced combat experience.
- Added flipping tricks for motorcycles.
- Added Nitrous Oxide engines to cars.
- Previously used vehicles are now marked on the mini-map.

Major updates:

If you are an iPhone user then you will be pleased to learn that PUBG Mobile now utilizes 3D Touch whenever you wish to pull the trigger for far more intuitive control. Keep in mind though: this option is available only for iPhone 6s devices and up, and obviously, the iPhone SE is not included in those devices.

A new Arcade Mode has been thrown into the mix as well, allowing you to compete with 28 other players in a more 'traditional' style gameplay. The mode includes the following: "Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, All Weapons, Melee, Pistols and Item Heaven."
