[Original Story] Telltale's narrative adventure based on The Walking Dead will be brought to an end starting this August with The Walking Dead: The Final Season.

A few hours ago, several outlets posted the announcement and soon removed it. According to the leak, the first The Walking Dead: The Final Season episode will launch on August 14th on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the Nintendo Switch release coming at a later time. Pre-orders will begin on June 8th, and all those who pre-order will get access to The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will come with some new features not found in previous games, such as a new over-the-shoulder camera, better combat and a visual overhaul. 4K and HDR support have also been confirmed for compatible devices. It will also be possible to import save data from previous entries in the series.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season first episode launches on August 14th on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A Nintendo Switch version will come at a later time. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
