The big initial Xbox One Halo MCC update is finally looming according to Halo developer 343 Industries.
Yesterday we already shared that the developer intends to open up the next Halo MCC test phase to all who have signed up for the Halo MCC test flight, and 343 Industries community lead Brian, ‘Ske7ch’, Jarrard has now shared some additional details about the upcoming big update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Testing through the Halo MCC insider program kicked off earlier this year, and following 2 initial test flights, early-access for Flight #3 went live earlier this week. In a new post on the official Halo Waypoint forums, Jarrard now shared that through the start of this new test phase, that the team is now in the home stretch.
“The finish line, at least in terms of the first big update, is starting to come into view and we couldn’t be more excited to bring everyone along for the final journey”, he wrote.
The community lead concluded, “with the start of Flight 3 Early Access we are now officially in the home stretch and the first finish line and the big initial update are finally coming into view”.
At the moment of writing, it’s unknown when the retail update for Halo: MCC will land, but as it seems, things are coming along well. We will keep you updated.
