The Best Accessories for the Microsoft Surface Go to Increase Your Productivity

After a wave of expensive Surface-branded devices, we finally have the cheaper Surface Go, a Windows 10 tablet that starts at $399 and is aimed to take on the iPad Pro lineup while also providing value to a wide range of users. However, the Surface Go on its own is just a Windows 10-powered tablet that features a well-made kickstand and if you want to take full advantage of the product, you will need to purchase some accessories for it.

Fortunately, we have lined up some great products that you can pick up right away. These accessories range from peripherals and also includes a monitor that will ensure you’re able to increase your productivity while using the Surface Go.

DREVO Calibur Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard

This is one of the best wireless mechanical keyboards I have personally used, and it provides a comfortable typing experience for the user. There is no other way to connect to the 2-in-1 than by using Bluetooth which means that you will not have to attach any receiver to the Surface Go to get it to work. All you have to do is fire up the Bluetooth menu using Windows 10, pair the keyboard to the device and you’re off to the races. The keyboard itself charges through microUSB, and it carries a price of $61.99

Logitech MX Master

Another product that I am personally in love with; the MX Master oozes with comfort and style, not to mention that it can provide you with a lot of battery life on a single charge. It also touts the option to connect to the Surface Go via Bluetooth connectivity or receiver, making it a very versatile product that costs $59.97. If you want something that offers more features than the MX Master and you’re willing to spend a little more money, you can always buy the MX Master 2S.

Dodocool Multiport USB-C HUB

The Dodocool multiport USB-C hub offers a multitude of ports that might force you to accept the ‘dongle life’, but it also means that thanks to the Surface Go featuring a Type-C USB port, it offers the user a lot of versatility in return. The USB-C hub offers several USB 3.0 ports, along with an HDMI port, SD card reader, RJ45 Ethernet jack, a microSD card slot and a USB-C charging passthrough port. It does not get any better than this and what’s more is that the accessory costs just $54.99.

HP Pavilion 21.5-Inch IPS LED HDMI VGA Monitor

The HP Pavilion 21.5-inch is one of the best-selling monitors on Amazon and for under $100, you do not have to be a detective to figure out why. It features a 1080p resolution and though it is only limited to a single HDMI and VGA port, it is more than enough to help you attach it to the Surface Go and increase your overall productivity workspace. If you feel that you want something else, you can always buy the Sceptre E248W-1920R, which is a 24-inch thin 1080p monitor with a higher 75Hz refresh rate and it too features an HDMI port. It is slightly more expensive than the HP monitor, but it is easily affordable for lots of consumers.

Woodeey 20,100mAh USB-C Powerbank with Power Delivery

Microsoft’s Surface Go can charge through its Type-C USB port, which is why we’ve included this accessory in our list. The Woodeey 20,100mAh USB-C powerbank supports power delivery, meaning that it will be able to charge the Surface Go at a tremendous rate while you are low on battery life and if happen to be on the go. There is also a single USB-A port to charge other devices, if you will be bringing along a smartphone or tablet with you.

Other accessories that you can pick up for the Surface Go is the Microsoft Surface Go Type Cover; it is a little expensive but if you want something that attaches seamlessly to your Surface product, this is the one to get right now. It costs $129.99, which is on the expensive side, but Microsoft loves to do that. Also, you can pick up the Surface Pen while you’re at it and it costs $99.99.
