The upcoming next Halo installment for both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, Halo Infinite, might not support Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere feature.
At least, that’s what Microsoft’s official Halo Infinite page wants us to be believe. As spotted by eagle-eyed NeoGAF user ‘DynamiteCop!’, the Xbox Play Anywhere logo is nowhere to be seen on the website – only the 4K, HDR and Xbox One X enhanced logos decorate the page.
An interesting find as other the Xbox Play Anywhere logo is clearly visible for other high profile releases, including Gears 5 and Forza Horizon 4 which were announced at the same day as Halo Infinite.
Of course, the game is still far off from being released and someone might have just forgotten to put up the Xbox Play Anywhere logo or not all feature details have been sorted out yet.
Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere feature allows to purchase an Xbox Play Anywhere digital game, and play it on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC at no additional cost. In addition, progress made on either Xbox One or Windows 10 PC is shared between both versions.
Halo Infinite was officially announced during Microsoft's 2018 E3 conference. A release date hasn't been announced yet.
