We're seeing some rather interesting leaks for the 2018 iPhone lineup lately. The final session of leaks for this year's trio kicked off when folks over at 9to5Mac got their hands on screenshots allegedly from Apple's test feed for its upcoming event. These displayed the iPhone X's successor in gold; a detail that's also the subject of several previous reports for the smartphone. Now, we've got an interesting 'leak' for the upcoming 2018 iPhone lineup. Take a look below for more details.

Romanian Carrier Lists The 2018 iPhone 9, iPhone X(s), And iPhone X(s) Plus For Pre-Order

Today, we've got an interesting report for the 2018 iPhone lineup. It might be a leak but don't bet on it. Before we get to it, it's relevant to consider another recent and equally interesting iPhone 'leak' that took place recently. Once again the courtesy of the good people of 9to5Mac, this one claims to know what Apple will dub its largest iPhone to date, the 6.5" OLED iPhone rumored for later this month.

According to 9to5Mac, Apple will call the device the 'iPhone X(s) Max'. Well, if this is really the case then looks like naming at Cupertino is now the responsibility of teenagers. The iPhone Max sounds like Apple ran out of ideas and looked towards energy drinks for inspiration. Need the best iPhone ever? Here's iPhone X(s) 'Max' - to max out your needs and your pocket.

Of course, there's the more realistic possibility of this 'leak' simply being intended to stir up discussion related to the upcoming launch event. It succeeds in doing this by the unconventional nature of the title. In fact, it might be authentic if today's leak courtesy of a Romanian carrier pans out. Carrier QuickMobile has listed all three upcoming iPhones for pre-order.

2018 iPhone Lineup's Pre-Order Page Displays A 512GB Variant For The 6.5" iPhone X(s) Max Plus Variant

Not only has the carrier gone ahead and listed all three iPhones for pre-order, it's also made sure that all possible rumored naming variants for the trio are present. The 6.1" LCD variant is dubbed as the iPhone 9 and the 5.8" OLED successor to the iPhone X as the iPhone X(s). It's with the 6.5" OLED iPhone that things get interesting. Not looking to miss out on any reports, Quickmobile dubs this device as the iPhone X(s) Max Plus.

The listing does not provide any new information for the trio's specifications, except for 512GB internal storage for the iPhone X(s) and iPhone X(s) Plus. Stakes are high in the corporate market,  that prefers larger screens and styluses. Samsung's Galaxy Note 9, while keeping form factor and design unchanged - has managed to successfully market itself as the gadget for this particular market segment.

Apple will launch the 2018 iPhone lineup in less than a week from now. While the iPhone X and its $999 price tag stabilized things for the company's balance sheets, the real question is will Apple be able to sustain this trade-off between ASP and units shipped?
