Although the LG Q8 ThinQ is not expected to make an experience until Q2 2019 and there are hardly any credible leaks that let us in on the designs and specifications of the phone, a concept video has surfaced on the internet. Given the fact that next to nothing is known about the phone so far, the concept is completely imaginary, but it would definitely help if the Korean manufacturer is able to take some pointers from this video.

The channel ‘DBS DESIGNING’ recently uploaded an LG G8 ThinQ concept video. The primary subject in the video has really thin bezels and a waterdrop notch at the top which houses the selfie camera. First seen on the OPPO R17 and R17 Pro, the teardrop-shaped notch is expected to be featured in many upcoming smartphones. The phone has a metal and glass design, with a dual-camera system on the back that is vertically aligned. An LED flash and laser autofocus sensors can be seen on the left of the rear cameras.

The G8 logo is right below the cameras, and the LG logo is on the bottom. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is located between the G8 logo and the camera. The A power/lock key is placed on the right-hand side of the device, while the volume rockers are on the left, alongside the Google Assistant button. The device also has a Type-C USB port, a loudspeaker, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom. The designer has envisioned three color variants of the phone: silver, black, blue, and red.

While the designer did not suggest any specification which makes sense as it seems too early and there haven’t been many rumors about the phone apart from the ones that claim it will sport a 4K LCD panel and might be 5G-ready. The G7 ThinQ had great specifications and impressive audio capabilities, and we certainly hope that the successor will keep up the best things about its predecessor, while improving the boring aspects about the flagship in the process.
