Yesterday was a big day for the OnePlus 6T. Chinese companies usually take to market their devices before upcoming launches and OnePlus is no exception to this rule. The company actively participated in creating hype for the OnePlus 6 this year.

In fact, the smartphone's notch landed OnePlus CEO Pete Lau in a bit of controversy too. OnePlus' dedicated customer base reacted strongly when the CEO shared images of the OnePlus 6's notch on his Twitter. We've come a long way since then, but the company hasn't changed. Take a look below for more details.

The OnePlus 6T Will Launch Alongside An Upgraded Pair Of The Company's Bullets Wireless Headphones Reveals FCC Filing

Smartphone manufacturers in China are racing to implement new technologies in their gadgets. We've seen edge-to-edge displays, new front camera sensor arrangments and under-the-display fingerprint sensors make it first to Chinese users.

In the lead right now are Xiaomi and Huawei, with both companies sticking to their strengths. Now it's clear that OnePlus isn't eager to stay behind. In order to keep up with other manufacturers, the company will introduce under-the-display fingerprint sensors on the OnePlus 6T. This will deviate from OnePlus' previous strategy of only minimal upgrades on the 'T' upgrade.

Now, we've got a fresh FCC filing that shows how the company will ensure that its upcoming launch is a complete package. As per yesterday's teaser (which confirmed under-the-display fingerprint sensing for the OnePlus 6T), the device will launch on Wednesday the 17th of October. It's an interesting launch especially considering US consumers.

The OnePlus 6T will become the first smartphone in American markets with In-Display fingerprint sensors. The feature will also ensure that the smartphone is 0.45mm thick over its predecessor. However, we are unable to gather any more details for today's FCC leak.

The Bullets headphones in it are a new model. Their model number is BT32B, while the original Bullets Wireless carried the nubmer BT31B. Wireless earphones is a growing market especially as manufacturers make the gradual shift to remove earphone jacks from smartphones. Thoughts?
