Did You Buy the iPhone Xs, the iPhone Xs Max, or Will You Wait for the iPhone XR? [Poll]

Apple recently unveiled its new trio of iPhones and with the exception of the price friendly iPhone XR, the other two, namely iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, will start shipping from Friday, September 21, while pre-orders are already open.

The new budget-friendly iPhone XR sports a 6.1-inch LCD display, 12MP single-lens camera, and is powered by Apple’s latest A12 chip. The phone has a glass body and aluminium frame and it is IP67 certified against water and dust. Like the last year’s iPhone X, the iPhone XR has an edge-to-edge display with Face ID, but thankfully the phones do not share the same price tag. Available in six colours and storage capacities of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB, you can get your hands on the phone by paying $749. However, there is a catch: the phone will launch a month after the launch of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are this year’s flagship models and have the most advanced technology the Cupertino giant has ever introduced in its lineup of mobile phones. The iPhone XS sports a 5.8-inch OLED panel, while the 6.5-inch OLED screen makes the iPhone XS Max Apple’s largest smartphone ever. Both handsets have the highest pixel density of any iPhone and also support HDR 10, Dolby Vision, and a wide colour gamut.

In addition to that, both the flagship models have the most durable glass seen on an iPhone to date and offer better scratch resistance from both sides as well. The smartphones have stainless steel frames and glass bodies which support wireless charging and also feature bezel-less displays and a TrueDepth Camera System for Face ID. With an IP68 rating, the water resistance has also improved considerably. The phones are available in the 64GB, 256GB, or 512GB capacities. The price of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max starts at $999 and $1,099 respectively, which is going to be a little steep for a lot of consumers, but it turns out that these models are still selling out.

Will you wait for the price friendly iPhone XR or have you already bought one of the flagship models? Let us know by participating in the poll below. As for our personal preference, we’d definitely get the iPhone XR because it is not just cheap, but it gets the best features of iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, and it is available in a wider array of colours. Just because it doesn’t support 3D Touch does not mean it is a deal breaker. It might be for some, but not for us.

Have you purchased the iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max or will you wait for the cheaper, but featured-enriched iPhone XR?
