Despite being so close to release, we don't know much about Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay. Some additional details, however, have managed to come in just recently.

The latest episode of Red Dead Radio, which can be heard in full below, revealed some additional details on the game. According to the video, NPCs are going to be visible from great distances, something that hardly happens in most open-world games. Interactions with them will be possible in several different ways, as players will be able to talk to single individuals as well as groups. Arthur will also be able to talk to NPCs automatically and even while performing other tasks.

Some details on equipment have also come in. Apparently, players will be able to unequip all of their weapons by leaving them on the horse. When the weather becomes cold, Arthur will wear a coat automatically. Additionally, it seems like there will be a lot of customization options. It's also been revealed that players will have, at times, to take decisions quickly, as nothing will be slowed down to let players think about their possible choices.

Earlier this week, Rockstar Games released more information regarding the Red Dead Redemption 2 wildlife.

Wildlife

The diverse habitats and climates of Red Dead Redemption 2 are home to around 200 species of animals, birds and fish, all of which behave and respond to their environment in a unique way. Deer, bison and pronghorn travel in large herds, scavengers quickly sniff out carrion, sockeye salmon leap upstream, wolves attack in packs surrounding their prey, geese fly in fixed formations, possums play dead, rodents scamper into tree hollows, grizzly bears bluff charge when threatened, and birds of prey soar on thermals. They all form part of a complex ecosystem and must continually fight for their place on the food chain.

Red Dead Redemption 2 launches on October 26th in all regions on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
