Samsung's 5G Galaxy S10 'X' Will Cost $1400 In South Korea - The Gadget Will Not Launch In US
Today's report from South Korea provides several details for the Galaxy S10 X, a device that's rumored to be Samsung's first gadget with 5G internet support. ETNews believes that this smartphone will indeed be dubbed as the S10 'X'. The publication claims that this is due to two reasons. Firstly, 'X' is the Roman numeral for 10, and secondly, this term will allow Samsung to integrate terms such as 'eXpansion' and 'eXperience' in its marketing strategy.
This smartphone will also feature a quad rear camera setup and 1TB internal storage. Additionally, we get to learn about a new feature for the smartphone today. The S10 X will feature a 'life pattern mode' which will allow the device to adapt itself according to a user's usage patterns. Whether this feature will also be available on the other Galaxy S10 smartphones is unclear.
The report also mentions Korean price tags for the upcoming S10 smartphones. According to ETNews, the entry-level Galaxy S10 Lite will start from an approximate price tag of $758. This will go as high as $1426 for the highest-end Galaxy S10 smartphone. The 5G S10 X will release on March 28th in South Korea, three weeks after its non-5G counterparts. Finally, we also get some hardware details for the Galaxy S10 X today.
Not only will the gadget feature a 6.7" display, but it will also come with a 5000mAh battery, 12GB RAM and 1TB internal storage.
