The full and final version of iOS 12.1.3 is now available for download to all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users. Here's the complete changelog as well.

Before we dive into the 'download' bit, let's have a quick look at what the new update brings with it and what you can expect once you have installed it onto your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Fixes an issue that may cause audio distortion when using external audio input devices on iPad Pro (2018)
Resolves an issue that could cause certain CarPlay systems to disconnect from iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max

With that out of the way, let's talk about installing the update. As ever, you can download the latest iOS 12.1.3 update over the air, and it's a piece of cake process too. You can simply start off by connecting your iOS device to a WiFi network, head over to Settings > General > Software Update in order to install the latest release.

However, it is a strict requirement that you have more than 50% or more battery on your device otherwise the update installation will not go forward. It's highly recommended that you keep your device on charge at all times during the download and installation process even if you have more than 50% battery on your device. It's better to be safe at all times than sorry.

Despite being a small update, you can use iTunes to perform a clean install of iOS 12.1.3 on your device. Simply download the IPSW firmware file from links below for your device, then follow this guide here on how to install it: How to Clean Install iOS 12 on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch [Detailed Tutorial]

The clean install route should only be taken if you are having a ton of issues with your device such as slowdowns, app crashes, bad battery life, connectivity related problems and whatnot. But if you are facing no issues at all, then the over the air method for installing iOS 12.1.3 is the way to go.
