Going by the rumors that have been doing rounds on the internet lately, the upcoming Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus will probably have most of the things that you would expect from a 2019 flagship. That being said, the phones look strikingly different from its predecessors, ranging from their thin bezels and pin-hole display where the camera is housed. On the other hand, the highest-end variant of the Galaxy S10, which is codenamed Beyond X, might inspire more interest, given the fact that it will have one thing that the other members of the S10 family will most likely be missing.

The Galaxy S10 Beyond X Is the Phone to Look Forward to Thanks to Its Sheer Size and 5G Connectivity

From the look of things, the Samsung Galaxy S10 family would consist of four phones: the Galaxy S10E, a base Galaxy S10 variant, the Galaxy S10 Plus, and the Galaxy S10 Beyond X. The entry-level Galaxy S10E will most likely come with a 5.8-inch flat display, a single selfie shooter, and a dual rear camera system. It will also have the smallest battery; a 3100mAh cell will reside underneath the hood.

Moving on, the base variant of the Galaxy S10 is expected to have a 6.1-inch curved display, a single selfie camera, and a triple rear camera setup. The Galaxy S10 Plus, on the other hand, will sport a slightly bigger 6.44-inch display and have a pill-shaped display hole to accommodate two selfie cameras. All the phones in the series will either be fueled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Samsung Exynos 9820.

Unlike these three phones which will support 4G LTE connectivity, the Galaxy S10 Beyond X is tipped to be the first Samsung phone that will be 5G-ready. The device will allegedly come with a 6.7-inch display, two cameras in the front and four cameras on the back. It is also expected to pack in a gigantic 5000mAh battery and offer up to 12GB of RAM and a whopping 1TB of internal storage. With Samsung just today announcing its 1TB eUFS 2.1 storage for mobile phones, it is not impossible to imagine the 5G-ready flagship boasting this much memory.

This model will most likely not be unveiled alongside the rest of the Galaxy S10 series phones at the upcoming Unpacked event, rather it will probably make a debut later on when carriers start rolling out their 5G networks. Also, keep in mind that this variant will be limited to certain regions, so don’t immediately expect to see it pop up on market shelves in your region.
