Samsung's Galaxy S10 launch event is underway and the company announced a handful of variants with slight differentials. Other than the Galaxy S10, the company also unveiled its first Foldable smartphone, which to my view is quite expensive. However, the company is still on its way to unveil more and we're covering all the products extensively. The company also announced its new Galaxy Buds which will cost you $129.99 and you can pick one up for yourself starting March 8.

Samsung Announces Its Wireless Galaxy Buds With A Strong Battery, Compact Design And A Lower Price Tag

The Galaxy Buds are packed in a pill-shaped enclosure that also packs seven hours of juice for the buds. To be precise, the Galaxy Buds are closer to Apple's AirPods than any other earbuds on the market. We speak in terms of functionality and connectivity, more on that later.

Apart from the similarities, there are some unique features part of the mix as well, which includes the ability to accept reverse wireless charging. This means that the earbuds can be charged with the Galaxy S10 devices.

The Galaxy Buds are tuned by AKG, which is also owned by Samsung. As for some of the features, the true wireless earbuds from Samsung support gestures and Bixby. While gestures and all sound pretty amazing, the implementation of Bixby is very limited at this stage. However, we can expect an upgrade in the future. Bixby can also be used for navigation and input.

As for connectivity, it sort of resembles AirPods's implementation. All you have to do is open the case and you'll receive a pop up on your Galaxy device for pairing. Pretty AirPod-like process.

All in all, the Galaxy Earbuds offer a strong battery life, compact design and dimensions, and a lower price tag compared to Apple's AirPods. While the accessory is great and all, the future of the product definitely looks promising. Check out the official introduction video below for more details,

There will be more to the story, so be sure to stay tuned in for more details on the matter. Also, check out our website for extensive coverage of the event. This is all for now, folks. Share your thoughts on the Galaxy Buds in the comments sections below.
